Ice Cream Patio is a delicious Italian restaurant that serves a variety of delicious food and dessert that will please the whole family. Ice cream Patio has extended its menu with more dishes and desserts that will satisfy you in ways you couldn't imagine.

For appetizer I recommend the Bruschetta pizza which is an 8" pizza topped with seasoned diced tomatoes. The Cozze Di Mare which is sautéed mussels in a red sauce, with white wine and garlic. The cheese and olive plate which is a new appetizer on the menu. It is an assortment of three table cheeses served with olives. All these appetizers are gourmet, and made to perfection. You will not be disappointed, and they are not heavy appetizers, so you can finish you food.
For an entree, I recommend the Agnellotti which is prepared in a tomato cream and spinach sauce. The Eggplant Parmigiana which is layers of egg plant and mozzarella topped with their homemade tomato sauce. The meat lasagna which  is served with béchamel sauce topped with mozzarella cheese. The Capricciosa pizza which is tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham artichokes, and mushrooms. All these entrees are my recommended favorites and I guarantee you will finish the entire plate.

For dessert, I recommend the Belgium Waffles which is delicious home made waffles, topped with whip cream and your choice of ice cream. This is truly the dessert that will catch your attention, and I know you will be returning simply for this dessert. Overall, I give Ice Cream Patio a 4.5/5 because the quality of the food is superb, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere with my family.

Cittadini Ristorante

When you are craving Italian Cuisine, Cittadini Ristorante is the place for you. They offer high quality Italian food at reasonable prices, and everything is simply delicious. At Cittadini, they pride themselves in the quality of their bistro experience, and ensure they only have the freshest ingredients. From the moment you walk in, the relaxed, upscale atmosphere combined with traditional Italian cooking will surely enhance you experience.

For appetizer, try the anti pasto which is prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, olives, peppers, salami, and a splash of olive oil served all into one dish. This dish is delicious as it teases you, making you want to relieve your entree. The second appetizer I recommend is the calamari fritti which are golden brown and fried to perfection, served with lemon on the side. This dish is simply perfect, and it tastes like heaven . The lemon brings out the true flavor of the calamari, and it enhances you taste buds to satisfy you and the family.

For your entrees, try the home made spaghetti with fresh tomato basil sauce, or the half moon pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese, spinach, blue cheese, smoked mozzarella, and parmigan cheese. These two entree are simply delicious and they come with so much flavor. I personally enjoyed the half moon pasta because I could tell it was handmade, and it was real Italian cuisine. Each bite taken out of the half moon pasta was like a burst of flavor in my mouth as they use a variety of different cheeses that will please you in every way. Overall, I give Cittadini Ristorante a 5/5, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

 

Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

If you are looking for a delicious restaurant that has excellent desserts and Italian food than you are going to simply love symposium. Symposium is one of the best restaurants I've been to and their desserts are to die for.

For appetizer I recommend the sweet and spicy Thai chicken which is breaded tender breasts of chicken pieces coated in a sweet and spicy Thai sauce. My second recommendation is the fried calamari which is lightly breaded rings cooked golden brown and served with lemon and cocktail dipping sauce.My third recommendation is the spinach dip which is topped with feta and cheddar cheese with warm pita bread. All these appetizers are delicious and I can guarantee you will enjoy them as much as I did.

For dinner I recommend the chicken pesto sandwich which is grilled chicken breasts on a toasted ciabatta bun topped with pesto, goat cheese, diced tomatoes and organic greens. My second recommendation is the chicken parmesan which is lightly breaded chicken breasts covered in mozzarella cheese, served with fettuccine in marinara sauce. These entrees are delicious and I know you will enjoy them. They are well sized portions, and you will not be hungry after. Guaranteed.

For dessert I recommend the Symposium fudge brownie cheese cake. This cheese cake is covered in mounds of fudge brownies and draped in thick chocolate fudge. Underneath the cake, there is a chocolate graham crust which is delicious. This is my personal favorite dessert of all times, and I know you will all love it.

 

Il Cavallino Ristorante

Il Cavallino is an authentic Italian restaurant with a variety of delicious Italian food that will satisfy the whole family. They have the best appetizers, pasta, and meats in the entire city. The dress code is casual/semi formal and the restaurant is beautiful, and decorative.

For appetizer try the antipasto which comes with Norwegian smoked salmon, Parma prosciutto, cured sausage, grilled vegetables, caprese, assorted cheeses, olives, pickles, mushrooms, and artichokes. If you are not in the mood for that, try a delicious César salad with crispy romaine lettuce, a creamy César dressing, and handmade crouton.

For an entree try the lobster and crab gnocchi which is a potato pasta served with fresh lobster, and Alaskan king crab finished in a creamy prosecco and white truffle emulsion This is the best tasting gnocchi in town and you will not forget the taste.

If you do not feel like pasta, than try the veal piccata which is a pan seared veal strip loin finished in a delicate white wine lemon reduction served with roasted potatoes. This veal strip loin is very tender, and juicy. The sauce that they use is very delicious and I promise you will enjoy every single last bite of it.

The restaurant is an elegant Italian restaurant with a calm atmosphere, and beautiful decor. I highly recommend trying this place, and I can guarantee you will return multiple times. If you are looking for a night out with your wife, and want excellent Italian food, than try Il Cavallino and experience quality at its best.

 

Desserts Plus Italian Restaurant

If you are looking for a place that has great authentic Italian food than Desserts Plus is the place for you. They offer a variety of food and dessert that will satisfy all of your taste buds. Desserts Plus gives you big portions of pasta, and everything is well priced and not expensive at all. 

For appetizer try the calamari fritti and the mozzarella tomatoes. The calamari fritti is a great tasting calamari fried to a golden crisp and served with fresh lemon on top. The mozzarella tomatoes are tomatoes cut up served with mozzarella cheese on top glazed with a nice olive oil and vinegar. These are two appetizers you will not forget, and they are both incredibly delicious.

For an entree try the Fettuccini with meat sauce and veal parmigianna. This is linguini pasta served with spicy meat sauce, and veal with cheese on the side. This is really a creation of heaven because the sauce is made to perfection, and the veal is perfectly cooked and topped with fresh mozzarella cheese. This is an entree that can be shared between two people because the portion is well sized and well priced. You will be completely full after this dish, and you will be satisfied with no regrets.

If you are not a pasta person than try the wood oven pizza with any or all of your favorite toppings. I recommend a nice cheese pizza topped with hot salami, prosciutto, and bocconcini cheese. This is a delicious tasting pizza that is spicy, and has a nice thin crust that is cooked just right. Over all Desserts Plus is a great tasting restaurant that is well priced, and gives customers big portions. I give it 4 stars out of 5 and I highly recommend people who love Italian food to go there at least once.

Grazie Restaurant At Your Service

If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant located in the GTA, Grazie restaurant is the place to be. They offer a variety of delicious food that will have your taste buds dancing with flavor.

Want a good appetizer? The calamari fritti is a must try on the menu that is both crispy and spicy for those people who like it hot. What do you feel like eating as your main entree? Pizza? Pasta? Meat?

Grazie restaurant offers the best wood oven pizza with all of your favorite toppings ranging from prosciutto to hot salami to even fresh anchovies. This will have you satisfied in ways that you could not imagine.

Maybe you would rather a nice plate of pasta instead. Say no more, the pancetta pasta is one of the most delicious pasta dishes I have ever eaten. It is penne pasta topped with fresh vodka sauce and sliced pancetta that will make you really feel like you’re in Italy.

I have a really bad sweet tooth, how can they help? If you want a creamy, and mouth watering dessert than I got just what you need. The Grazie cheese cake is one of the best desserts I have ever tried. It had me savoring every last bite until I had no choice but to order another one. Don’t feel like cheese cake? More of a chocolate lover? Then maybe you would enjoy Grazie's big chocolate mousse that is literally dripping with flavor.Overall Grazie is an excellent restaurant that has delicious food, and the servers are very helpful with assisting you.

 

East Side Mario's

If you are the kind of person who enjoys a place with low- moderate quality Italian food than East Side Mario's is the perfect place for you. I visited this place for the first time and I was not impressed at all with the service, quality or variety of food, and the atmosphere.

 East Side Mario's is a place that I will never return to again because the quality of the food, and variety are both low. I believe that East Side Mario's is a place for a family with children to go to because they don't really care about authentic Italian Cooking. I ordered the Calamari Fritti and the steamed mussels for appetizer and I was not impressed at all. The calamari was soggy and very heavily breaded, and the steamed mussels were very small in size, and the tomato sauce looked and tasted very watery. For my main course I ordered the four cheese ravioli and I was very un impressed. The pasta was cold and dry when it came, and the cheese looked like it was just thrown on without any special preparation.

 The service was horrible because the waiters/waitresses were very rude, and they ended up spilling a coke all over my brother. I was very disappointed as they did not compensate me for their mistakes and I ended up leaving very upset and unsatisfied. The atmosphere was too loud for my liking and it was very colorful which gave me a big headache. Over all I think East Side Mario's is a place that I will never personally return to because I was not impressed with anything, and I still had to pay the full amount even though they made numerous mistakes with the food, and service they delivered. I would highly recommend not going there with a girlfriend/boyfriend as the place is not romantic at all , and the atmosphere will bother you in many ways. I give this restaurant a low rating of 5 and I am being generous.

Marcello's Restaurant

If you are the kind of person who enjoys good Italian food, dressing casually and fast service than Marcello's restaurant is the place for you. They offer a variety of different Italian dishes that will surely please you and your loved ones. Cant choose what to eat? let me recommend some special dishes.

The Marcello's wood oven pizza is the best pizza that you will ever eat in your life. Try it with all of your favorite topping like prosciutto, olives, hot salami or just a simple cheese pizza. Marcello's uses the finest thin crust dough, and authentic Italian tomatoes sauce that will make you feel like you are in Italy.


Prefer a nice veal chop or steak? than try Marcello's white wine veal chop that is cooked to perfection dripping with flavor and your choice of potatoes or salad. This is surely a dish that you will be satisfied with and it will have you leaving with a full stomache. How about a nice steak instead, Marcello's offers the best cut AAA beef with your choice of 8 or 12 ounces depending on your appetite. Both dishes are served with side dishes and both dishes are cooked to your liking of rare, medium rare, medium well or well done.

What do they offer for dessert? Marcello's Pizzeria offers a wide variety of desserts that will surely please you one way or the other. Try Marcello's special Tiramisu cake which is actually made with Baileys liquor and smothered with fluffy whipped cream. Feel like a different dessert? than try Marcello's Crème Brule which is a special dessert filled with custard on the bottom, and then covered in brown sugar that is torched for extra flavor. If you enjoy dessert, than the crème Brule is a must try, and you will most definitely not want to share.
